Just wondering if its even possible, can I spray paint/color my stock rims to a different color ? I'm looking to change the color of my stock rims to a darker metallic color. Before any tells me that I should just buy new rims, i'm saving up for headers, gears and a stall. I will buy new rims but before then, is it possible to buy a can of spray paint and change the color of my rim ? thanks

im guessing it would be 'possible' but it would take a lot of work, like presanding and prepping then polishing and buffing and clear just like on the car itself. Even then though not sure how it would turn out/hold up, a buddy of mine spray painted a fender of an old truck he had for the hell of it though and it actually turned out pretty good. Do you have an old rim or something to test on?

i paint my olds rims on my 83 olds. "steel" took a little time but looked clean. go for it but before and after.

sand blast and powder coat em, that would be the easiest way to go and that shit never comes off. i had the rims on my truck done for $35 each. waaaaay better than spray paint.
