c6.R symbol

ok guys this is driving me crazy...does anyone know, or have a picture of the C6.R 's skull symbol... its a pic of a skull with the corvette racing symbol on the skull...i saw it on the c6.r's durring one of the lemans races or something...but i can't find it and its driving me crazy!

The skull symbol, using the C6 emblem for the eyes, is a race team symbol. They have it on team clothing and on the C6 race cars but it is not for use or sale to the general public in any form.:cuss:

We saw the symbol out at the Mid-Ohio races this past June and asked some of the team members in the Corvette Tent. They said it was only for the team.

yea thats pretty gay that they don't have any jpegs or anything. Becuase i love that symbol for my background.....it just looks so bad ass :uzi:...yup well thank you jackmac..did you enjoy the races..next year i'm going to go to the petite lemans in GA.

Someone on another forum has it as an avatar, I am sure you can use it just like with any copyrighted logo just no reproducing and selling it. My .02.

yea i hope becuase i replicated it..but i cant remember if the corvette isgina(sp) has the checkered flag and chevy symbol or id its just all blacked out

I have a complete set of the Compuware C6R #4 decals including a couple of the skull stickers. I'd scan it but it has transfer tape on top of it. There are a couple sizes as well.

We are building a replica of the C6R #4 and had an inside connection to a set.

There are two versions onthe race car. One is a yellow and black one found on the B Pillars, and the other is a black and white version which is larger and located on the right side of the front and sometimes also seen on the rear bumper near where the license plate mount is. I took a photo of them, they still have the transfer tape on top, but you can get the idea.

I'm back.

After watching the Laguna Seca ALMS race yesterday, we noticed the badboyvettes.com sticker on the roll cage in the C6.R. We went to the site and you can find much information on the C6.R's the race team and also the skull icon. There is a story of how it started, who created it and t-shirts, hats, etc. for sale.:yup:

Yeah I thought someone on here was making copies or very similiar decals. The one's on ebay are horrible. Just looking for something small to put on my helmet

No, you would think though.
The only recomendation I've gotten is ebay and if you look at the difference, it is almost embarrasing.
I thought someone would duplicated it by now. They don't have to sell it to me(as that would be illegal)but they could pm me.
Any one know where to get the decal?
