So I decide it not going to rain and head up to great lakes at about 8 pm
There is literally 10 people who are running, so I'm a happy camper.

1st kill: 2000 Z28 Exhaust, Lid, Gears: He gets me on the rt and is about 1/2 car out. By the top of second were even, shift to third and get about 1/2 car out by top of third I'm a full car and but teh 1/4 I'm about 1.5. Great run, I talk to the guy his name was dan, he said hes gonna come one here and sign up. Really cool guy, let me borrow his helment later on in the night when they made we wear one. I think this run I ran 13.0 @ 108

2nd kill 1996 Toyota Supra: t-67 turbo, front mount, supposedly 500 rwhp.
This one was especially fun since it wasa friend of mine I came up there with. He thought I was gonna need car lenghts or a full second hit, but I told him that I wasn't goning to take them. We line up and the tree goes green, I put 2-3 cars on him instantly out of the hole. By the end of second it was getting ugly I was probably out like 5, and it stayed that way until the 1/4
He ran 13.8@116 and i Ran 12.9@109 $9k camaro defeats $35k supra.

He wanted to run again but I need to let my clutch cool off a little bit, but he did'nt run better than a 13.4 the rest of the night.

i'd be carefull..those trap speeds are fast as hell..did he have street tires?..if he puts some drs he'll whip your ass..that or maybe he just can't drive the supra....there are supra's running 900hp so 500 is deff atainable

Exactly - you can count on the next guy with a 500hp supra to know how to drive.

Yeah, his trap was up there, but I thought it would be higher considering 500 rwhp? :thinkin:

What were the 1/8 mile traps for both cars?

not sure, i thought he was gonna be trapping in the 119-120 range but hey he was having a lot of trouble. I have seen the dyno charts from soundperformance since then and it made 496rwhp.... also, he was on race gas and I was on pump gas.
