Hey guys,

I'm running a 383 with a D1SC and 14lbs of boost. I'm getting everything together to set-up the good fuel system. In the mean time I'm sticking a Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator on their just so I can drive the car alittle bit. My question is, How much fuel pressure can I run with the stock pump without burning the pump up from overworking it?

Thanks!

if it were me,id stay out of the throttle, that pump will not support that big blower.
JMO,get a real pump in there before you hurt the motor.

I would stick with stock pressure levels and keep your foot out of the boost as best you can. Your fuel pump isnt going to take it for long trying to support alot more power. It should be fine for just driving around town.

Yeah, like I said its just for driving around. Of course I'm not hammering on it. Dont know what fuel pressure is good for a stock pump... I just got my fuel tank back. I HAd to get it modded so I didnt need a fuel cell. I have to get my fuel rails done than I'm good. This is just temperary!
