just wondering if anyone had problems with paint bubbles .. its just on the roof. started out with only one now its all over... bought car new, never been painted, and is anyways garaged kept...

That is a "known issue" with the roof panel on 98+ f-bods. GM has a technical service bulletin on it but most dealers won't fix it for free. You could do some looking and find the TSB but it has something to do with the glue they used on the tops and the fiberglass being to thin. To fix it they have to remove the panel and put a new one on.

True, The dealer tried just sand and paint but the bubbles came back, then replaced the whole roof panel and painted it. So far so good, I was just at the end of my 3 year warranty. You may want to state that this falls under the corrosion part of your warranty which covers 5 or 6 years, not sure... you can try the TSB,,,depends on the dealer:think:

ive heard some dealers will cover it and some wont. what this means to me (an automotive technician) is that gm will cover it as long as the dealer feeds the repair to them properly. some dealers understand money is money and have no problem repairing cars right, others just want money.
