Yea so I got this annoying whine/howl coming from my rear end, it's all stock, gears too. I jacked it up and spun my tires around with my hands and it doesn't make any noise. I've been told it could be my gears or a bad wheel bearing, anybody know? If this thing is broken to where I need major repairs I'll probably just buy a 12 bolt or a 9 inch, who makes a direct bolt in, and where can I look at them?

I can only hear it at low speeds, but I already took it in to get checked, a bearing went out and now my gears are worn down sooo time for a new one.

I have a vibration at 3000rpm and up and it gets worst the faster you go,can this be rear end related?I have exchanged u-joints,driveshaft and checked the axles.I have checked trans mounts and replaced the harmonic balancer. What can it be ? the trans is a automatic.Need some input.I have all but given up.Can the trans be at fault?I ask because it has been worked on lately, but I had some virbation before it was worked on.I didn't mean to take over this post but I just wanted to ask after this was related to my problem also. The car here is a 77 camaro, not my TA.
