help with headlight...new gear

i changed the gear in the passenger side headlight ...installed brass gear ...no problems .....but every now and then the light does not raise....... i have to turn the switch 3 or 4 times to get it up......

What was the original problem with the headlight?

Sounds like the headlight switch to me or the motor itself.

Manually turn the motor slightly, unload the bind on it, see if this helps, if it does not help, turn it the other direction...
