Help, I have a 1993 Chevrolet 1500 Truck with a 5.7, last week the transmission started to shift hard from 1st to 2nd, I used a scan tool and it reads code 82 shift sol. A , so I replaced it (no help) I checked the wire loom (good) I replaced the ignition switch (no help) the scan tool still reads code 82 What's Up ??

The code your speaking of is a solinoid circuit fault , while thqat could mean a bad solinoid it can also mean faulty terminal at trans conector ,Bad ecm , But the most comon cause other than a bad solinoid with the model of your truck has been a faulty ingnition switch ,low voltage setting the code ,
