It was between the 228r and the Torqer2. Got the camshaft package with the hardware and gasket kit. I know it is recommended to get a new oil pump, but which one? LS6 factory or the LS6 ported? About $50.00 difference. Is the it really worth getting the ported? Also, with 76k on the clock do lifters and rockers sound like a good idea?
Pacesetters, ORY, LS6 intake, 3.73s, and pulley are coming soon.

i just bought the stock ls6 oil pump and RPM porting and shimmed it on the install for free. $50 bucks saved for you there. yes get it ported, for better flow. congrats on the cam, man!

whoppin ass...lol I'd like to think so, as I still only have 350rwhp. I have the ls6 intake and stainless steel headers sitting on the floor at home. I'm putting the headers in next friday and then getting it tuned at RPM. I'm going to sit on the intake for now so I can save up and look for either 36# or 42# injectors. tell you what though right now she pulls to almost 95 in 3rd gear hauls and loves those high rpm's...lol
Mainly wanted the LT's installed w/the loudmouth for the Texas state fair on Oct. 14th. You should come out too, you get in for free, just have to get there before 9am and can't leave until 6pm. There are forms you need to fill out and mail in to get your fair/car show parking pass. Last year was awesome!
what's new w/you?

Yeah but he does have 2.73's and bald tires. I know even with good tires and very little mods I can spin my tires all the way to redline with a 1st gear 2500 stomp.

I'm debating the lifters but the oil pump, and LS2 chain are a definite go. I'm hoping for about 370-375 with the cam header tune combo. Is that realistic for my 6-spd?

Well I finally got around too spending some dough on the car. Just been working alot lately. My previous car cash went for a trip to Mexico with the wife. She thought we needed that more. Of course we here on ls1.com know better. What could I do? LOL.
