SO I got this bright Idea, like I always do and decided I could make an in-dash monitor for my car for $100.00 or less. This was just an experiment, so I didnt buy anything too expensive. I cannibalized a cheap 7'' portable dvd player, took the monitor out and placed the rest inside the dash. I attached it to a cheap dvd player that fits in the glove compartment that runs by remote. I hooked everything else up to amps I already had and woohoo!

The plastic on the right of the monitor looks crooked but isnt.

I'll take better pics tomorrow in daylight...I'm just excited and had to share!

Looks nice, Would look better centered in the hole though.


Also, didn't you loose all radio/CD function? It's sweet, but I'm not sure how practical it is.

It can be centered easily with another plasic trim piece. I never listen to the radio here. Its all crap hiphop music. The dvd player plays cd's
