:soapbox: does anybody eles think it's stupid that bilstein doesn't just sell shocks that are allready revalved, or for that matter, VALVED for the purpose of a lowered car? It just kills me that we are expected to spend 325+revaling costs to adapt their equipment for our needs. Where's there R&D on that one?

The HD's are meant as stock replacements for our cars.
imo the Bilsteins should have been the stock shocks rather than the shitty decarbans.
Bilstein can valve a shock for all the variables that we use to mod our cars, i.e. different spring rates, ride heights, applications, etc.
Even Sam Strano will tell you that he revalves the dampers to each application with very few being the same rates.

I'm with him, there are just to many variables and sam knows all the variables and can set up up with the perfect revalve. If bilstien just did a revalve for a lowered 98-02 camaro they would only be set up for the springs they used to lower it. There are probably at least a dozen different kind of springs all with diffferent rates.

Actually Bilstein does make a sport shock for our cars. You can only get them by buying their F-Body suspension kit which includes dampers and lowering springs.
