My new vert ss m6 is pretty fast I know, but with the 335hp package, what times can I expect in the 1/4 with the added weight of the top? I'm clueless.

thanks

Why not go to the track and weigh it in? Oh and run it too.

You'll run 14.9 @ 95 MPH. Your car is a turd until you prove it worthiness. That is no fucking excuse. I went to memphis TN to run my car in 1/4 because AR don't believe in 1/4 tracks apparently. Yeah that is about 2 1/2 hours drive from my house to see my car run 13.1s @ 106.8 MPH.

My point is STOP making threads of "what would..." and stop making excuses of not having a dyno shop or a track for your car to run or dyno nearby. If you REALLY want to know you SS potential, YOU will make yourself a drive to these appropriate places and find it out for yourself. Guesses don't mean shit.:yup: :denied:

jackass AHEM, had to clear my throat!

anybody on here already have one like mine or very similar who has time slips or anything? I just want to know what mine will do at best for stock

The only way you're gonna know what it runs is to either buy a gtech and run it, or run it at a track. Most likely, if it's an auto, you'll be well in the 13's. With a stick shift i'd guess that you will run somewhere in the 14's your first time out, as it will prove hard to get the car off the line.

Wow, how old are you? :hahano:

There might be a person or a few people here that has exactly the same car as yours but it doesn't prove the point that their car will run EXACTLY like your car. Every LS1 fbody is built different, horsepower/ET numbers will prove that. Location/elevation/weather will have a role on this too, FYI. I might have sounded or given you a slight hint of a jackass attitude towards you but believe me you deserve it. This "what would and what could my car...??" posts do get really old and I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one here that agrees about this. Here for my last comment to you on this post will be nice and respectful to negate my attitude to you earlier. Have a NICE day and I hope you will get your answer soon.

We only have an 1/8th around here, and I got it off the line nicely I think. my 60ft was like 2.27 on my very first run. I checked my camaro performers magazine and it turned out better than the stock z they tested. I was pretty proud of that. Also the track I ran at was very skinny and since it was my first time I didn't do great on the trap and time but I was proud of my 60ft though. I still would like to know the potential of my car in stock form. Just real curious, I guess I'll keep looking for stats

You do know that there is a 1/8th mile to 1/4 mile conversion. Why don't you use that.

I guess a 2.2 is ok for a first run but certainly 2.2 60' times by no means any good!

yea, I checked it and I didn't do so good. I want to know what my car CAN do, know what I mean? I know that I'll get better over time, but I'd like to know what I can look foward to

What kind of 60 do you expect for stock? I thought I did damn good on that part.

I guess we'll never know. Most of the time when I ask questions people have intelligent answers. for now I don't have the most confidence in my clutch, so I'll be waiting until I upgrade it to go back to the track.
Thanks anyways

Your car could run anywhere from a 13.0-14.5. Depends on driver, depends on car, depends on da, depends on alot of things.

ill tell you one thing, your drivetrain loves those 2.2 60ft times. our cars are weak so the better your 60ft, the worse off the rear.:flex:
