A bit confused and I've tried to figure out why but I havn't been able to...but why don't all WS6's/FireHawk's come with the bigger spoiler? I thought that was part of the Trams Am package. My WS6 has the bigger (taller) spoiler but I've seen people post pics of WS6's and FireHawks without the bigger spoiler. What's up?

they are probably formulas, which are base model firebirds with a v8. They have the low spoilers and were available as ws6 and firehawks

So what would be the difference from a Formula FireHawk and Formula WS6 to ..umm...full FireHawk's and WS6's?

Spoiler, 1993-02 Firehawk "Iroc-Style" (Trans Am only)

Now Available! Original OEM Firehawk Spoiler
Now available for the first time, is the original OEM spoiler that was used on the 2002 Pontiac Firehawk, but will fit Trans Ams as old as 1993. The OEM spoiler is a great upgrade on these older models (note: will not fit 1993-2002 Formula or Firebird). The IROC-style Firehawk spoiler is manufactured from an OEM-quality resin transfer mold (RTM) process for a strong, durable part. It’s an easy bolt-on installation that uses your Trans Am’s existing bolt holes and comes complete with a new brake light. All SLP spoilers come primed, ready for prep and paint.

Pontiac Firehawk spoiler features:

* Original 2002 OEM spoiler, not previously available through SLP!
* Manufactured from an OEM-quality RTM process for strength
* Mounts using existing Trans Am bolt holes
* Fits Trans Am back to 1993

all trans ams start as formula fbirds.
Formula firebird was the Base V8 option, a trans am was an upgrade to a formula, appearance wise. WS.6 in both aspects was an upgrade to its counterpart... formula Ws.6 is better than a base formula and so on.. T/A WS.6 and Formula WS.6 are similar in drivetrain and suspension but are different in appearance...I think all Hawks started as WS.6 in either a Formula or T/A package, which would be the reason why formula hawks retain the low rear spoiler, weird ass front and rear bumpers and no side skirts...im sure there is more

One thing to keep in mind is, some Formula owners have replaced their trunk hatch with a TA's hatch; you can't just replace a low rise spoiler on a Formula you need to replace the whole hatch.

if you can replace the rear hatch of a 1993-1997 formula wiht the rear hatch from a 1993-1997 trans-am by simply bolting it on, can you do the same with the front bumper?
