I'm considering upgrading my stock stuff, and my car is basically stock....What are the pros and cons of this?

Thanks,

The Z06 stuff is pretty much stock replacement parts now. In my opinion, for the money there are better things to be had. I just recently (about 500 miles ago) put a spec stage 3 kit in my car (kept my heavy flywheel) and I've been nothing but impressed. Can't say anything about wear.

Also, if your car is a 1998 or older, go ahead and upgrade to the newer slave cylinder while you're in there, it seems to help keep the pedal light with heavier duty clutches.

Hope this helps.

Thanks....I was told that the Z06 clutch and PP were a definite upgrade over the stock stuff.....How true is this?

It will be an upgrade over 2000 and older stuff, how much of an upgrade I'm not really sure. There definately isn't anything wrong with the Z06 Clutch package.

i spent an extra 200 over the zo6 clutch and got the ram powergrip hd with a billet flywheel and love it! stiffer than stock, but stronger than the zo6! I replaced the spec 3 :rl: i had with it..it was garbage! didnt last long at all and it only saw the track one time and 3 passes! :
