well i ran a 13.08 at gateway last night and want that 12.99 so bad i order the b and m shift improver and am going with the stage 2 hopefull it will force me into the 12's will let you all know what gains you get from a shift kit in about 3 weeks when i go back to the track

car mods slp cai, a4, 2.73, magnaflow muffler, tb bypass,62 degrees outside

If you want to see an improved ET, you need to change those 'highway' gears
and go to a lower ratio. You'll have no problem running 12's then.

yeah i definetly agree, but the shift kit was $31 and when i do go with gears i am going with 3.73 ratio with a 12 bolt rear and those are a little more pricey but will be able to get aroung incom tax time:nana:

well got the shift kit in and it is totally kick ass, from 1-2 and 2-3 i know im gonna see a gain at the track, now im sure i can get my 12.9

Congrats! It's always satisfying when you do something that you can feel or see
the difference, not like the new 'wheel bearings' I'm putting in tomorrow at the
ridiculous price of $400 each!!!
