I want to go bigger cubes, but I do not have the money right now to get a block ie. 402 or 408 from someone, my plan is to get a LS1 block, machine it out to 402 get a rotating assembly and the LS7 heads and 90/90 on it and then go from there I plan on this takeing me about 2 years to finish and to come up with the money thats why I wanted to start with a stock block and go from there. I need advice on what you think i should do so lets here it guys:)

You cannot get the LS1 block to a 402 without sleeves.
Easier/cheaper to get a new block and go from there.

Sleeving it will cost more than having a 402/408 built.
That is why the 402/408's are budget strokers.

resleeving is more expensive in the long run. you're better off getting a 6.0 block from somewhere and using that to save a little bit of cash. i also dont think you can use the fast intake with the ls7 heads because the l92 and ls7 heads dont have cathedral style ports.

dayum, i wanted to use them too, i guess the 6.0 might be less expensive?
