View Full Version : best location for bov/ sts kit

Hi I just installed the sts turbo system on my camaro.I have an m6 transmission so I bought a greddy bov. where is the best location? I think sts puts theres on pipe #5 which is just before maf, can I put mine after maf so that its not under the car were it could get hit? also do I have to put a filter on the bov ? thanks

It must be before the maf, you will have some serious issues if you get rid of metered air :yup:

it goes on the pipe that turns towards the MAF....

No filter because the air from the intake tubing is vented out into the atmosphere. Good bov, HKS sequential bov is a great one too. There is a lot you need to learn once you get a turbo and this is a good place to start.
