I broke the 10's. On e.t. streets and a 150 wet kit the car ran a:

1.60 60ft
6.98@101.42 MPH
10.89@126.23 MPH

Overall I am happy with the car. Its not bad for only being 16 years old. Yea I drove the car on this pass and many more.:)

2001 NHRA Firebird Formula

Perfomance:

Stock 241 heads with a stage 2 port job(ported, polished, stainless valves, 2.02" intake, 1.67" exhaust, SLP Roller rockers, dual valve springs, and a retainer kit.

228/236 588" cam on a 114 LSA

SLP long tube headers, random technologies cats, dynomax bullet resonator.

Spec 3+ with a billet steel flywheel

Granatelli MAF, 160 thermostat

SVO 30 pounds injectors and a TNT wet kit with 90mm power ring.

Donaldson prototype Blackwing air intake

Suspension:

Moser 9" with 31 spline axles, and a Detroit True-trac posi.

UMI Tunnel brace mounted adjustable torque arm with driveshaft loop.

LG sub frames

Edelbrock box style control arms


The wheels are Holeshot Holestars, 15x10 with 7.5" bs. The tires are 26x11.5x15 e.t. streets.


I just added QA1 10 way adjustable shocks with QA1 springs on the front. There are some pics of the car on this forum under the member's ride section I believe. The car has cut a best of a 1.58 60'.

congrats! So whats the deal -- how long have you had it? Did you buy it modded? Is it you and your dads project car?

The only thing I have put in the car is the 9", the torque arm, the QA1's, and the clutch. I have had the car for almost a year now. Yea it is me and my dad's car. He paid for it and I pay for the majority of the mods that go on it. I daily drive the car to school, and pretty much anywhere I want to take it. My next mods are going to be a steel driveshaft, and I Spohn or bmr anti-roll bar(the drag racing one).
