what would be more reliable for auto crossing? an f/i car or an n/a car?
i'm hoping for numbers north of 420 rwhp and know it'll cost a lot of dough. But i'm on an f/i kick as of late and am just exploring my options. I'd love to auto-x my ws.6 some time so let me know what you guys think.

You need good torque down low to roar out of the corners.
You will be easily able to attain those numbers going N/A.

staying NA with boat loads of mid range torque
autocross winner three years running. i say it's because i align his car. he says it's because he knows how to drive.

money wise your looking into at least 5k to go F/I to go N/A about 2k for what you want to get out of it, a nice cam with mid range power and intake and TB

N/A cause you want the power to come predictably and pretty linearly... f/i will usually make the power come very fast at certain rpms.... which can unstable the car... just get a nice stroker w/ h/c.
that's what i have...
