99 Vert rear Monsoon speaker replacement options

I have a 99 SS vert and I want to replace the rear Monsoon sail panel speakers. These speakers have 4 inputs going into the speaker.

Apparently, these are not the same type of speakers that come in the coupe, and additionally, the coupe had cargo area speakers for a total of 6. The vert only has 4 speakers.

I recently replaced my door speakers with Infinity 62.7i speakers with good results. Is it possible to install these same exact speakers in the rear sail panel location? Looks like they will fit and clear the folding top mechanism with a ½" extender and still look stock. Where do the wires go as it is not as obvious as when I did the front speakers. Any thoughts?

I don't have a vert, but there is no reason why they wont work if the depth is ok. If they are full range it should be simular to the door setup. The 4 inputs could be because they are full range like the door speakers.

The problem is that the wires are in pairs going to two speaker inputs. How do you know what goes where? The 62.7i speakers have 4 seperate speaker inputs.

The clearance of the speakers with the top mechanism is not an issue
