View Full Version : Worlds fastest LT1?

So who has the fastest LT1 powered fbody in existance? There are plenty of LT1's out there in the several hundred horsepower category that do quarters from anywhere between 8.35-14.0 and I remember reading about a car that was to break into the 7.9x's this season... but where are the speedsters out there looking for top speed over 1/4 mile performance? You couldnt ask for a more aerodynamic car to have from the factory with enough starting power and gearing to get you there... so who here has been over the 170mph mark or more? or know of any car that has?

Big Rick went over 170 I'm pretty sure. And he had the quickest ET for an LT1 car if I remember correctly.
