I keep hearing this rattle coming from underneath my hood. I know that it is coming from a pulley, I just can't figure out which one. I have narrowed it down to one of the lower pulleys on the passengers side. Any help?

What type of car?
If you think its a pulley, just get under there with a ratchet and tighten some down if you think they are loose.
Other than that, you have to be a bit more specific.

Sorry about that. It is a 2000 Formula. I don't think that any one is loose I just wonder if any need replacement and how could I tell?

Usually pulleys will squeak before rattling, lower passenger side sounds like the AC tensioner/pulley. You could pull the AC belt and see if it stops to try and isolate it - gotta take off the main belt to do it though, but it's not hard.
Check your motor mounts too. I noticed some rattling coming from underneath the hood while sitting with the car in "parK" and it turned out to be the two broken motor mounts. Got two from the dealer for like $70. Good luck.

Most likely its your tensioner...thats usually the first to go and no big deal really.

Thanks for all of the input. It turned out to be the AC tensioner. Just replaced it today for the low, low price of $69 and about an hour of my time and now there are only good sounds from under the hood.
