well my buddy works at a porsche dealership and had a pair of pilot's come off a M3..i have an 01 ss and have 18x9.5 rims on it with 285/40/18's all around..unfortunately my rears have nail leaks which cannot be repaired/patched anymore..was thinking about putting the 255's up front and moving the fronts to the rear for a lil bit..how do you think this would run?

the sidewalls will be stretched out from not being as wide as the rim. also, you'll most likely get an ABS ligth to come on from the different tire heights. and because of this, when you apply the brakes, the ABS will engage and start pulsing the brakes. does it to me when i run my 26" tall ET Streets on the car with almost worn out stock size tires on front.
for a temp deal, go ahead. just remember what i just wrote.
