I beg to differ a well built 4l60e is a very good transmission and very capable

if you can get a 4l60e built right and durable enough they're nice, there's a guy over on ls1tech that has a 9.33 sec twin turbo vette that he drives daily through a 4l60e and gets 20+ miles to the gallon

While true automatics may not be as fun as jerking the stick around, They generally are alot more fun at the end of the track when you get there first its always a nice feeling,

Hmmm, I yet to have anyone bored for long in my car. Most just hang on for dear life and grin. Of course, if having both your hands dedicated to driving the car, instead of life's other pursuits...
Myself, I got tired of rowing the boat. Manuals may be more macko (or was that macho?) but my auto is a ton of fun. And so are the women...:nana:

Pffft, my car is for me, the apartment for the women. I am a purist and never mix my persuites. Besides, car>girl every time. (car is much easier to live with and wont leave you for the next guy who comes along with a little higher limit on his credit card).
