No flaming on products please.

I have 3400 stall FUDDLE 2.1 STR
And a few questions I hope somebody can answer

1. naturallay asprirated, driving at 70mph in drive, not over-drive it bounces of rev limiter. when I floor it.
2. at the track with 125 shot. it wont shift in to 3rd just bounces off rev limiter.:brick: I even let off the peddle when it hits rev-limiter, still wont shift. 11.9 1/4 mile, even with hitting rev-limiter
at the track, no NOS I get 12.33 1/4 mile and never hits rev limiter
3. going at 70 mph in over-drive I floor it with 125 shot, and bounces off the rev-limiter, like right now.
I had converter installed by a sponsor, had torque management set, and dyno tune. prior to getting NOS.
Does it sound like converter problem?
I have a window switch, but not installed yet.
I have a toggle switch for NOS, and shutting it off prior to shift, sometimes takes care of problem.

no 2-3 shift is either a tune program issue or a 3-4 clutch issue . A 4l60e can only do whats comanded , first i would get someone to look at data stream and see it the shift is comanded if its comanded its a transmission issue if its not its a program issue

Thanks . I'm thinking of ordering a programer, maybe a Predator

when you installed the converter did you do any type of tuning to it? also you should get a shift kit. I would try that first..but you deff need to lift the shift points when you install a converter.

most likely a tuning issue

Lower shift points at WOT, increase line pressure. If its a stock tranny, get a shift kit.

maybe i'm just having a brain fart..but don't you want higher shift points, and a raised rev limiter :hide: or i might just be backwards

that really depends on where he wants to shift at. If he's banging the limiter and don't wanna bump it up then I would back the shift points down a tad. I personally use MPH to adjust the 1-2 shift points and RPM to adjust the 2-3 3-4.

Yeah it sounds more like command problems from ecu.......I picked up a couple of tenths by lowering shift points while on the bottle.I would have a "Good Tuner" get in there and check out your pids while driving.:yup:

No. You have to remember the increased torque offered by NOS is greatly flaring the converter by as much as 3-500RPM. If the shift points are setup for NA just short of the rev limiter then you will hit fuel cutoff every time. Either back off the MPH and shift RPM or raise the rev limiter. Increasing line pressure will (up to a point) offer more control over shift RPM too.
