Fuel Filter

Ok...I know this prolly sounds ridiculous..Where is the fuel filter located in the Avalanche 06 with a 5.3? Ive been crawling under that truck for 30 minutes trying to find it....At my age that aint fun.....Any info appreciated!

Why are you looking for the fuel filter on a brand spanking new truck?....take it to the dealership if there's a problem.

Because I want to know where its at......I didnt say there was a problem.

I'm not sure about the location of the filter on your Chevy, but I did find out that my Nissan Titans' only fuel filter was the "sock", or screen that's mounted on the bottom of the pump....in the tank.

the fuel filter is in the gas tank. it does not have a serviceable fuel filter. starting in '04 GM went to a fuel on demand system that took out the normal in line fuel filter. some '04s have them some dont. all trucks except v6s from
'04 dont have fuel filter
