No pro here. My buddy Chris Tolbert did this for me. He's been playing around with his Nikon D70 for a few months. I'd say he's got it figured now :yup: .

Plano's located about 10 miles north of Dallas.

What brand of tire are you using?

dammm... love it.
love the roll bar and the A032-Rs... did you copy ? :rotfl:
looks like the fronts are 17x9 275s... would look great w/ 315s and 17x11... try fitting the rears in the front... you'll love it... no spacer needed.
damm it looks sweet.... congrats.

Got to love the AO32R's for the boldness they offer on the car. I started using these back in '00 on my first SS, and have loved them ever since.
Here's a link to the article GM High Tech did back in '02 for my last SS.
http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/features/0209gmhtp_1999_chevrolet_ss_camaro_feature/

I thought about doing 315's in the front, but I really like the staggered look.

those are Yokohama A032R tires.
in the front, he has 275/40-17 and in the back, he has 315/35-17
Only thing I don't know is which of the 2 possible compounds he has... A032R-H or A032R-S
I use the A032R-H and 315s on all 4 ;)

They're H compounds. I figure thats the only they'll ever last being daily driven.

Well I'll be damned if that's not the big boss man himself of Keith Craft Motorsports. I came in about a month back askin' about those MAC headers and Corsa exhaust. I went back recently and saw the place was torn up. Where did ya'll move to? I'll be lookin to get my exhaust pretty soon. ;)

Oh, and how far of a drop is that?? Looks damn nice. (still)

I may have found a replacement for the Nitto DR's that I have torn through. Which are better the Nitto's or the Yoko's? I way very pleased with the Nitto's (315/17/35)...

in terms of compound, they are pretty much identical in stickiness.
the A032R is way better in wet conditions... and if you have 275s the tire is louder as you drive (Nitto is quieter) 315s aren't as loud.... think it's due to the angle of the threads.

thanks. I looked on TireRack and didn't see them ava. in 315/35/17's...am I missing something, or where did you pick yours up at/order online from?

In terms of the compund, you are talking about the H (hard) compound tire correct?

yes, comparing it with the H-compound (hard).
I got mine directly from Yokohama Canada (sponsor) or a local tire shop www.talontire.com
What about discount tire direct ? think they have them.

I just got off the phone with Yokohama. The AO32R line has been discontinued.

He said they have some "S" compounds left, but no more of the "H".

Whew! Now that's a sweet ride! You're lucky bro, take care of her. I grew up in Plano in the early 70's. I went to Christie Elementry and played Soccer when it first started in Dallas. The town was pretty damn small back then but fun. I haven't been there in a long time and I heard it's a big city now. I must have been around 6-7 years old. LOL

It really has had a population explosion. I think there might be a 1/2 a square mile left to build on :yup: .
My wife went to Christie in the early 80's. And right now we're staying at house just a couple hundred yards from there.

How much did you lower your car? Do the headers hit? Do the wheels rub on the inner 1/4? SCHWEEEEET ride.
