Just raced a 06 roush 5spd conv stang against my 06 gto 6spd. Both factory cars with less than 5000miles and factory wheels and tires. The GTO pulled off the win by a little over 7 cars in the 1/4mile. the stang didn't even get to feel what its like to be ahead!!! THATS RAISING THE BAR

this was an on the street race messured out by trip odometer. sorry didnt have the times. wouldn't be affraid to race the roush in my iroc in the 1/8th though. ill post the results on that as soon as it happens.

holy shit...i smell :bs: c'mon not 7 cars. Maybe 7 cars at like 150mph, but sounds like you need to get to a real track.

well lets see it a conv. with a body package and thats it. it weighs the same as a stock gto but with 100hp less. Smells like u 2 r 2 chicken shit to try one.

sorry didnt know there was a kills section. kinda new. but i figured pontiac was pontiac and i didn't see a gto section.

I just saw that color gto at a local dealer. Very nice.

There is a guy at my job with a stock o5 gt and he says he smokes gto's all the time. Wich i call:bs: If he cant beat a ls1 how can he beat a ls2. I know the gto is 3725lbs and the stang is a bit heaver with less hp.

I think the gto was using the gt as a blocker and toying with the gt. I toy with car like that.
