hey i just bought a 02 z06 and i wanted to know how strong is the rearend.
is there any week links and want need to be the first mods done to the car.

Welcome! The rear on a Z06 is quite strong, the gears are actually shot-peened. 1st mods I would do is skip shift disable, Hurst shifter, high quality air intake, and maybe headers. The stock Z exhaust actually flows pretty well and is definately lightweight. Good luck!
