hundreds of passes on my stock 10-bolt, richmond gears, stock carrier. 1.50's 60 ft on nitrous and 1.70's on motor in a 3500 lb 1992 camaro. i've been lucky i think.

I have an M6 car. That is the reason I upgraded before it blew up. Didn't expect it to last under one launch on the M/T DR's.
I did go 12.64 at 115.44 on Nitto DR's. Short times were horrible though....2.234.
I freaking hate the altitude in Colorado.

either snapping teeth on the ring gear, or the differential just completley exploding.
its impossible to build one...it will never hold.

i launched on the street at about 5000rpm with a set of hoosier dragslicks and nearly lifted the front wheels off the ground on my 10 bolt did that 3 times in a row against a c6 vette.
......still driving on it, but its making cute lil sounds when turning corners at low speed.

Still on the stock rear.
I'm glad to see ths because everyone is always saying how bad the stock rear is. I was gonna save to upgrade and I still might but I had another LS1 Camaro and I got it to 86000 miles doing burnouts and launching it every damn time it move and I never had a problem.

Remember, I am an A4. The M6 can break one easily.

Both of mine were M6 and I haven't had a problem yet. Maybe I'm lucky but I beat the PISS out of the first one and never had an issue at all. Except for throwing a rod lol

well... i finally got to the strip in my sled. changed the converter and put on 28x10.5 mickey's and the car slowed 2-3 tenths on the 1/8. wont get 1/4 'till the 15th. rented the strip and we'll see what really happens then. 99 SS 'vert, still has the 3.42's. just installed a Eaton posi, LPW girdle and a solid pinion bearing spacer, which should make the 7.5 live for what i'm gonna do with this car. I really didn't want to put 400 in the posi but that junk Auburn wasn't gonna make the grade. I would NEVER sell anyone one of those p.o.s.! car went 1.69 60s and 7.79. not too bad considering the gear and tire size, no power adder. made my own adjustable shorty torque arm, floor mounted crossmember w/ loop, race style lowers and panhard. suspension worked great. next thing is 0 spin on the street w/ drag radials. we'll know more on that over the weekend.
