I was on my way home when i saw this red with white striped GT-500 waving his hands at me like he was talking shit!! So i pulled a UE and caught up to him. We went from a 40 with him pulling by 2.5 cars to 110. We tried to go again but i shut it down after missing 3rd(tranny still fonked up!) I pull onside of him and it turns out to be the one my stedad told me about at Stang-HI(local mustang tuner). He pulled 485@ the wheels with a tune. He was pretty cool after i got to talk to him.He said DAMN that little thing MOVES!! Hes on his way to the track right now...........o and its his WIFES CAR!!!

I was 1.8xx seconds faster than the one at Bandimere when I was there.
I was hooking much better than he was though.

Thats the first one ive seen!! They look good!!! Im sure anyone who has them prolly cant drive them well yet.

Stage 2, CCA front mount intercooler, 3in open downpipe with E-cutout, Turbo XS RFL blow off valve, and intake. Thats about it for performance mods.

Yea im judging by him vs. me that he prolly went mid 12s only last night. My car is good on teh street but not on the track so i dunno. Hope i get to talk to him and see what he ran!

He was at the track tonight with a best of 12.4@117. His highest trap was 119. He says he has the gears, pulley, and MTs on teh way. Must be nice to have money!!

The night I was at Sears Point a guy was racing his. Bone stock, had traction problems off the line, said he tried everything.

He thinks the computer cuts the power when the ultra-diligent tire pressure monitor detects anything below 35psi.

Regardless, he was running 13.3s/13.4s (13.3 was his dial-in). An '05 C6 automatic (5spd) was running 13.4s/13.5s and I was running 13.6s. We all "SHOULD" have been .5 sec quicker but it was quite warm and humid.

I am pretty dissapointed in those gt-500s at least from what I have read on them.

I was too until someone tossed this in: stock convertible on ET streets ran a 12.1 @ 117mph.

I think the magazines have some typical inconsistent Ford quality dogs.
