me and the wife went to home depot, to get some plywood for the garage, anyway took the CTD 3500 dodge, and we got to about 90th south and I seen this lightning weaving through traffic driving like a damn fool, he maneuvered through traffic enough be right next to me at the next light, which we were first in line, so I revved at him knowing he was gonna go anyway by the way he was driving, he revved back and the light turned green. he got the holeshot but at about 60 I was passing him and pulling preety steady, we backed off about 90, I had him by about 4 lengths, he said he had an exhaust/pulley/ CAI. I did ask what year, he said it was an 01, he was impressed with the dodge, considering it is a 4 door, 4x4 with 35in. tires, and for all you doubters it has the banks twin turbo set-up, 4 in. exhaust etc. it runs low 12s in 4-wheel drive, and the trans and T-case have been reworked with extreme duty front and rear drive shafts, 4.11 gears, dana 70 rear-end, dana 60 front. had it dyno'd before it was tuned, wrong injectors, 446rwhp 798rwtq. probably 75-100 more horses now, it seems kind of slow for those numbers but it weighs 7400 lbs. sorry for the novel, but though I better give you some back ground on the truck before I run out and say killed an L, where's zapfool, I know he'll have something to add.

That is awesome your running low 12s with that much weight and 4wd.
What state are you in?

I'm in utah, I'd go out and take pics right now but my wife has the digital camera
with her and she is in san diego(left this morning) for a radiology convention or some damn thing. when she gets home, I'll get one, the reason I run in 4WD is without it, it's smoke city, the suspension is not set-up for racing so it just doesn't hook well, I also have a 1998 ram 2500 with a V10 running low 13s, I'll snap a pic of that as well, thanks

Damn, everything you got runs at least 12's. Be careful, someone might think you're a GEARHEAD or sumthin'. What does the wifey drive? A new M5 v-10?

You can't tell people with MONEY anything.

I like it. So if you already use four wheel drive how about try the 1/8 i 4Lo. It's only money. A 1.56 60 foot would feel great. Come on try it and get back. OICU812.

my wife drives the 06 G.T.O.(summer) either dodge truck in the winter, my DD is an 84 dodge ram 4x4 with a 440/727 TF and 4.11s, took it to the track it ran a 14.98@99mph, 60'-2.68 it was smoke city, and about the 4-lo, the T-case on these trucks is so low your top speed is like 45 in OD! I've thought of this but that's what stopped me. The only thing I have that runs in the 12s is the diesel, the 66 goat is in the 10s, everything else 13-14s.

ZAPFOOL!!

First of all good kill, second of all ..damnt...oh well a fast truck is still a cool truck even if it is a Dodge

There he is, I knew he wouldn't let a lightning kill go unnoticed.

LOL I think I called it, I was thinking the same thing about a fast truck, Even if it is a ford!

Id rather have the sleeper Dodge than the Lightning! People would never expect a 3500 series 4x4 to be fast
