Thanks for the battery input.

I put a new battery in today and let her run for about ten minutes to let the computer adjust since the old battery had been out a day or so.The weird thing is that when I went to turn her over the car sounded like it had a hard time turning over as if there was no spark or gas in her.I mean everytime I turned her over before she would fire up real good and now it sounds like there is no compression or a muffled ,gargled sound when turning it over.

Maybe the alternator is not holding a good charge.Remember only 6100 miles on it and its stock except for lid and catback system.i am thinking it might be the alternator now.sometimes she fires up real strong and other times she sounds real weak in turning over..
Any sugggestions?

Is it the right battery? cranking amps and so forth? Take your car up too say a chinazone or a place that will check your chargin system for free, or pop out a multimeter and see what its charging at.

Or look at the voltage gauge on the dash. A new battery needs to charge up a couple of times before it reaches full strength. So if you keep shutting it off and cranking it over and over it is ruining the new battery. Let it charge by running it for about 20 minutes at a time-look at your voltage gauge 13.5V to 14.5V depending on outside temperature.

yes, this battery has more cold cranking amps then the original ac delco did.Hence, it's a better battery then what was in there before. the voltage meter is showing between half and 3/4 on the guage.....right where its suppose to be.i am just puzzled at this point.I think I might take her in tommorrowand have the alternator checked out.

Do you have a multimeter? You can check the alt. yourself by putting it on dc volts and going across the terminals of the battery with the car running. Should be ~14.4 volts. I have things going on this weekend or I would check it out for you. I live out in Lancaster. If you haven't figured it out by next weekend maybe I can take a look at it for you.
Was there any corrosion on the cable end?
