No power need help????

I have an ls1 that has had a aftermarket hood put on with the ram air. However I have a problem my 0-60 tima is just under 7 seconds and when my mechanic puts on the computer he says it was up to 80% throttle. so what are my possible problems?? or how could I find out what is the problem thanks??

I really dont understand your problem. Are you talkin about your 60 ft time? Is your car an a4 or m6? What mods? When did you notice the issue?
How did the mechanic determine your car was running at 80 percent throttle?

k so my mechanic has a computer that he threw on the car and it can read previous codes and whatnot well he looked at it and read off the last couple and they showed that I was at 80% throttle in 1st gear. well I just got the car and it came with an aftermarket hood so I have NO idea what the hell is up with the thing if you have any idea's that would be awsome !!

hmm the hood has nothing to do with your throttle. check to make sure there isn't anything blocking the intake or anything like that, and maybe if nothing else works, reset the pcm...any input from those who are more informed and wiser ?

Have you got a friend to press the pedal all the way down and check if your throttle is opening all the way, making sure its not a mechanical problem with your tb?
