Has anyone thought about these. I go to the sites and all of them tell me that there is some modding for me to install. Has anyone done this? If so your help is much needed.

 the new board... having trouble posting, I just said a whole bunch, but here's the cliff notes.
Here's what I had in my car: http://drmilhouse.home.comcast.net
I wouldn't put a DVD player in my car again, it's too much $$$ when the cool factor wears off. DVD is great until the novelty wears off.

DrMilhouse, did you have to do any modding for your head unit?

No, I didn't have to for the head unit, but when I put the DVD and head unit together as a double DIN stack, I had to modifiy the dash a bit.

did you have to do a lot of modding or were you able to do it in your drive way?

I have a Alpin IVA-D310 it's awesome.
the DVD playback is great for long trips but the best thing is it does MP3 DVD so I can burn 4.7GB to a DVD pop it into my drive and have 4.7GB of MP3's at the touch of my finger like have a stack of full Ipod Mini's at my disposal.
