Is ceramic the best for heat reduction on the engine? Is chrome ideal?

Does a header set replace the cats? I really don't want them there anymore as they are gutted.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thats the rumor, ceramic is supposed too keep the heat in the engine bay down. As far as your cats, pick up lt's and a ory. The ory will replace your current y pipe and eliminate the cats.

If you got the cash go with a set of Kook headers. They have awesome ground clearance compared to hookers. I have a pic of my cooks on my car if you want it.

get ceramic coated fo sho. not only will it keep engine bay temps down, it will keep the headers from rusting out.

I recommed Kooks or QTP, best of the best, but cost a bit more. Worth it IMO for the stainless steel and flow design.
