California Speedway (Fontana) is the place to go. I believe they are still holding the teenage drag racing right now.
You can also go to LACR (Palmdale), but I advise against it, as the track is soo poor prepped, not to mention the power deficit from altitude, that you will be both depressed, and putting your car at risk.
Other tracks are Famoso, in Bakersfield (1/4 mile) and Irwindale (1/8th mile).

Palmdale/LACR closed last july, there is a private track rental at fontane june 13 you have to register on line at alternativemotoring.com. max 100 cars $115. you will be able to make as many passes as your car can handle. better than any tesst and tune day cause you can run so many times. Ill be there with my 99 formula and my wifes racing here 82 firebird. she says shes gonna beat me this time, motor to motor. shes gatting close.
