I've been thinking for a while about get a s/c. I think I've got a problem though, too much compression. i have a set of the Patriot heads with the 59cc chambers. I think that was 11.1:1 c/r. Can I run a s/c with these heads, or am I going to have to get a new set of heads also?

You can, but you won't be able to run that much boost. Maybe up to 5#. You should get some 6.0L heads and drop the CR.

I agree with Ed. You can go to a LQ9 (6 liter truck head) with a 71.06 cc chamber, or a LQ4 (also a 6 liter) also with a 71.06 cc chamber, but is cheaper.
The LQ4/9 will drop your compression ratio to approximately 9:1. The LQ4 is considered the "workhorse" head for street/strip turbo and supercharged cars.
The 2001 and newer LQ4's are aluminum. The LQ9 is more expensive, but is virtually identical to the LS6 head with the same improved exhaust and intake ports, but has a larger combustion chamber which is what you need to lower your C/R.
