Vortech Air Intake replacement hose ?

Those running a Vortech...has anyone replaced that nasty black 3 1/2" diameter n hose with something else??

If you did, where did you get the replacement hose from that accomodates the slight turn up to the MAF??

Ive been looking all around, can't seem to find one that will fit.

You may want to try calling the company to see if you have the option of getting something different. At least make sure you get the measurements and diameter on it so you can go through a commercial vendor for general silicone hoses or something.

Calling them to find out is the only way...

I ended up using a 45 deg silicone elbow and just cutting on both sides of the legs till I got a good fit at both ends. Not sure if the smooth hose will make a difference as compared to the black spiral, but the hose looks like it should come with it from the start.
