4 link?

was talking with an old drag guy who used to set up rear ends back in the day and he say my car...gave the suggestion to ditch the torque arm and go with a 4 link set up...sounds reasonable...the stock configuration is already got 2 of the 4 parts...the Lca's in addition we already run panhards...he said weight transfer would be better for launches plus with elemenating the torque arm id be elemenating stress on the trans and the drive line...i asked what about aftermarket torque arms that transfer the weight through the body...he said in his opinion a complete 4 link would work better. has anyone ever heard of this. what are your thoughts?

not sure how you would go about setting it up on the car, i would keep it how it is now, its a very good set up as is.
