As some of you may already know, from the last thread I posted, I've been having some issues with my 1995 T/A.

Specs on the car are as thus:

1995 T/A
ATI Procharger P600B - 7 PSi
Borla Exhaust - Few years old

the rest is otherwise stock

Well, now theres yet another problem I'm facing, inside of the engine compartment, on the left side of the LT1 (in that general area of the engine compartment) there is a loud, high pitched squealing noise on revving past 1400 RPM, also there has been an almost 85% decrease in power, aka it's almost powerless. I am completly stumped as to what this noise could be, if somebody could fill in the blanks for me, I'd very much appreciate it.

The suspected problem with the car at the moment is the catalytic converter, but these two problems and the way they connect is baffling me.

Have you checked your blower belt? You also need to check all your plumbing for the blower to make sure everything is tight, and that there isn't any holes in the piping.(especially the one comeing off of the blower going to the intercooler)

Actually yeah, all of the blower tubing has been checked. I've been told from friends that the noise is backpressure because of the collapsed cat. (it's pretty much assumed by most thats what has gone wrong with my car) And the blower is situated on the right side of the LT1, not the left.
