Well after three months of work I finally finished it!! God I'm glad to be done :)!
I got the bumper off a 97 Z28 off ebay for about $30 bucks, it was originally black and still had the plastic logo stickers on it... heh heh. Then purchased the supplies Maybe about $50 in paint, $20 in body filler and fiber glass (never used), and another $50 in sand paper. Total was about $150 bucks give or take a dollar or two :(.
I then sanded by hand (to get all the old paint and primer off), then body filled it, sanded some more, added more filler, sanded, added more filler, primed it (about five coats), sanded a little more, and finally painted it with satin black paint (about ten coats). I might add clear, but I was in a hurry to see how it looks ;). I've never done body work, and after doing this,... I may never do it again LOL. But I did learn some things, mostly the hard way. Maybe next time I'll use the fiber glass kit I bought but didn't use, lol. Luckily the paint filled in where the filler sunk in.
Well without futher ado.. the pics....
