silver gauge faces

Ok im thinking about adding silver faced gauges to my car. I just want to know if I put them on and dont like them can I take them off? If I can take them off and then I want to put them on again can I or is it a one time deal?

I know the macewen ones are removable, but still reusable. Not sure on other brands though
