Question for those with hp tuners

Do you guys go half with someone else with an LS1 so you only pay $250 to buy it or do you just pay the $500? For those of you that just paid $500 what other vehicle did you all choose? Do you guys tune other people's cars with the same car as yours?

when i first bought mine you only got one license...sometimes its a real pita if you go in with someone unless your good friends & have a good agreement with who keeps the unit.

you can...ive got mine on like 3 different computers right now...home, work, laptop

yes, you can load the software on as many computers as you like, but its locked to your 1 cable. Thats where the issues are. Its not a cable per year, its a cable for everything. I bought mine for me and forked over the 550.

What kind of connection do I need on my laptop? And if I don't have it is there an adapter for it?

serial port or if you only have usb you'll need an adaptor until they release the new usb boxes.
