Which is better for a street car?

I'd say the 12-bolt. My 9" is a little overkill for street use. Plus with the 12-bolt you can retain your ABS even with a 3-channel setup. I went with the 9" because I plan on making some semi-serious power, I'm an M6 and I want to launch hard on slicks in a full weight car.

How much power can an M6 handle?

my 9" has ABS + TCS.
And has a diff that can corner well (high-bias gear driven)... something 12-bolts are lacking.

So did you get yours from Moser? And is it noisey?

I'm running a 9" and seems to be good. I have 3.50 gears that hum a little past 55. I also retained the abs and such, basically a direct bolt in from stock. I just wish I would have gone with a limited slip or something other than the detroit locker...man it's rough in the street but kicks ass in a straight line.
