96 Trans AM LT1 , 6 Speed, short shift, k&n cai and i need some info on what kind of plugs and wires to get for my car? Should i use ac delco what the factory calls for or what? Need some answers ?? thanks

autolite 103's....I think those are the facotry heat range plugs. Your car is fairly stock, just get some autozone wires

Lots of people like NGK plugs for the LT1. MSD, Accel, and Taylor all make good wires.

I say buy some headers while your at it. Changing the plugs and wires is not a fun job with the stock manifolds.

If you plan on getting headers later, I say get them now and do it all at once. You'll be happy when you have more room to access the plugs. Just have fun routing the wires from the opti to the plugs.

I changed my plugs and wires in about 1.5 hrs.... not too shabby!... I went with MSD wires and Iridium plugs (they're expensive @ 11.99/piece x 8)... Headers are next on my agenda, and I agree, if you plan to do it, do it at the same time!
PS the trick is, control your frustration lol

Plug access can be the biggest bitch. But headers aren't too fun either. I had to cherry pick my engine to raise it for clearance (for headers). But have fun.
