cali smog vs Headers

so has anyone in cali passed smog with long tube headers?... i dont see why it wouldnt pass emitions with all the EGR hooked up and everything though i can see it not passing the visual. but yea has anyone in cali with long tubes passed? what kind do you have?

far as i know it'll fail cause of the visual...you could just take a chance that the smog guy doesn't know wtf he is doing or looking at

ha yea that would be nice but cmon i kno there are guys in here from cali with long tubes n know if they pass or not..... so please anyone from cali with long tubes do they pass or not? anyone?!?!

Got any family in AZ, or better yet rural GA? Have them register the car in their state, then you could run whatever you wanted pretty much.

Basically the only way you can get the car to pass is to know someone, but since smog guys are now going to jail for that, it gets harder and harder. all smog guys in ca are certified with the state so they know what they are doing. your best bet is to put the lt's on right after you smog your car so you have 2 years and then switch them back. i will be putting lt headers on my car as soon as i get the money i need!
