94 firebird transmission shifting trouble

I have a 94 fiebird with the 350lt1 in it and just recently got it back from having the motor rebuilt. I didn't have any problem with the tranny when it went in but now it won't change gears or down shift. When you're going slow it won't change at all you have to push the pedal hard to get it to change. There doesn't seem to be any wires lose or unhooked. Any help greatly appreciated. If The transmission seems to be working ok other than that i would replace and ajust the tps(throttle position sensor )its up there next to the throttle body and thats if its a 4l60e , If alternatley its a 700r4 the tv cable is probably out of ajustement to do this look for a black cable going to throttle body , theres a silver or black button on it push button and then slide center of cable into itself as far as it will go then get in car and push pedal to floor with car off of course , you should feel it give then its ajusted properly ,

Thanks but since it was working fine when I took it in I decided to take it back and told them to fix it there's no way I'm gonna give soe macanic $2500 and he give me back a lemon. I'm a little dumb but not that dumb!! Cindy
