Idle Problem

i have a 02 stock v6 and the first start up, before i drive it around.. it idles at 1000 and flutuates idle speed. but when i start driving for a while it idles well.. ive already put fuel system cleaner in it

Ummmm, so how long does it idle abnormally for? How long has it been since a tune-up?

Yepp Yepp like above if its been a while since a tune up that might be your issue in a nut-shell. Also take a look around for a vacum leak or stickin iac valve.
