Well I finally got into the 12's. Weather was pretty crappy. My PB was 12.77 @ 108.89mph. Car is basically bolt ons with a 9" and 4.11s. I was on M/T ET Street DRs. I couldn't launch as hard as I wanted to as the track wasn't hooking too great...Well at least IMHO it wasn't. I had a 1.9 60' on my best ET, but my best 60' of the night was a 1.83. All in all I'm satisfied. I was hoping I'd be a little bit quicker, but I'm guessing poor track prep and weather had something to do with it. I was informed by famliy in the bleachers and one of the guys at the line that my left front was coming up a solid 6" or so. :drive: The only track prep I did was unhook the front swaybar. I ran full weight which is a solid 3600+ lbs. I had all seats/belts/spare tire/jack etc. still in the car.

When I first got the the track conditions were;
- Track temp 127*
- Ambient temp 95*
- Humidity 43%
- Dewpoint 69*
- Barometer 29.69 in

They never updated the board with the track temp, but here's what weather looked like on my PB run;
- Track temp unknown
- Ambient temp 87*
- Humidity 58%
- Dewpoint 69*
- Barometer 29.73 in

Feel free to give constructive criticism and analyze my run for me. The guy I raced that ran the 11.7 was a '73 Nova that's gutted with 26x10 ET Streets and drag suspension. He was running a 406 SB/TH350

Also, can anybody tell me what the DA was with those conditions? About where would I be with better air?

Please do keep me posted. Sounds like you've got a pretty strong LS1 there. Considering the heat and gears. I had a buddy with an A4 and 2.73s. Our favorite thing about his car was a nice 35 mph punch... It was nasty.
